Origin:

While living in Vietnam, Sha-Shan was ordered by her father to marry Achmed Korba in order to thwart a "Lord of Darkness" and his "Emissary of Hate". As Sister Sun, she traveled to the US with Achmed and founded the cult known as the Legion of Light (not knowing that Achmed was commanded by the Man-Beast). After the Man-Beast's and Brother Power's plans were thwarted by Spider-Man and Razorback, Sha-Shan stop using her 'Sister Sun' identity.
