Amazing Spider-Man #177-180

Silvermane calls a meeting of New York's top crimelord at the Top of the World restaurant atop the World Trade Center. His intent is to organize the city's criminal organization under his leadership, but the meeting is crashed by the Green Goblin III. Over Silvermane's objections, the Green Goblin offers a deal where he is made the city's top crimelord after he delivers Spider-Man

To prevent the Green Goblin's success, Silverman stations his own men around New York with orders to ambush the Green Goblin if possible. After capturing Spider-Man, the Green Goblin is assaulted by one team. A bazooka blast causes the Goblin to drop an ensnared Spider-Man and damages his Goblin Glider causing the Goblin to retreat back to his warehouse. Silvermane's men pick up an unconscious Spider-Man but lose him again once Spider-Man regains consciousness.

The Green Goblin then attacks Silverman directly at the Radio City Music Hall. A three-way fight between the Green Goblin, Silverman, and Spider-Man breaks out, but it ends with Silvermane falling from near the roof of the hall onto the seats below. After the Green Goblin carries off a stunned Spider-Man, Silvermane's men (presumably) take the unconscious and seriously wounded Silvermane to the hospital.
