The Puppet Master uses a unique clay-like material to form figures in the shape of various persons. When form into the likeness of a particular person, the clay allows the Puppet Master to control that person's actions. Generally, the Puppet Master can only manipulate and control one person at a time.

Origin:

Working with a special clay he discovered in Wundagore, the Puppet Master discovered that clay allowed him to mentally control another person's actions. He decided to use that power to control other people. He originally came to the Fantastic Four's attention while testing his powers. He attacked the Fantastic Four by controlling the Thing, but was subsequently defeated. Since then, he has continually come into conflict with the Fantastic Four and other heroes and groups as well, and many of his schemes involve getting revenge on the Fantastic Four.
