The Punisher confronts a gang of mobsters meeting in an apartment complex construction site. He subdues the guard and guns down three of the mobsters in order to talk to the one name Snake-Eyes. Apparently, someone has been going around town impersonating the Punisher and dragging his reputation through the sewer. A sniper has been terrorizing New York, and the Punisher wants it stopped.

Snake-Eye's information leads the Punisher to the Roosevelt Island Tramway where he arrives in time to interrupt a fight between Spider-Man and Nightcrawler. Mistaking them for the sniper that he is searching for, the Punisher fires on the pair both intending to kill one or both of them. The three-way fight is interrupted when the real sniper fires on the cable-car. The sniper escaped, but the Punisher, Spider-Man, and Nightcrawler agree to join forces to stop the sniper.

The Punisher's informant said the sniper's next target was at an East Sider Block Party the next evening. The sniper, with the help of some thugs, capture Spider-Man and use him as bait to lure the Punisher out. The sniper reveals himself to be Jigsaw. Jigsaw was just a two-bit thug until the Punisher threw him through a window, and now he's back for revenge.

A short battle shows that Jigsaw and his men are no match for the combined might of Spider-Man, the Punisher, and Nightcrawler. The Punisher assists Nightcrawler in taking down Jigsaw's gang, and after confirming the Spider-Man has left Jigsaw for the proper authorities, the Punisher vanishes.
