Amazing Spider-Man #10

The Enforcers made their debut appearance working for the Big Man. They provided the muscle necessary for the Big Man to take over multiple criminal rackets and organizations in New York. Montana's proficiency with the lasso allowed him to incompacitate multiple opponents at once. Against Spider-Man, his lariat provided a a means to hinder Spider-Man while Fancy Dan and Ox went toe-to-toe with the hero.

Eventually, Spider-Man was able to bring down the Big Man's gang, and Montana was incarcerated with the rest of the Enforcers.
