Kryllk The Cruel

Kryllk discovered the device known as The Dark Crystal in a cavern beneath Asgard. The device shared with him the mysteries of the universe and in particular how it could be used as a weapon against the Asgardians and Odin.

Using the device, Kryllk froze time on both Earth and Asgard. Due to a protective vortex, Spider-Man and Thor were unaffected by the time freeze, and battled Kryllk and his trolls on Earth. Kryllk used the Crystal to transport him and his army away.

Using computers at Avenger's Headquarters, Thor and Spider-Man tracked Kryllk's army to both Asgard and an asteroid orbiting Jupiter. Thor transported Spider-Man to Asgard while he transported himself to the asteroid. Thor easily defeated Kryllk's army, but because of the Dark Crystal's protective force field, he was unable to approach Kryllk himself.

Meanwhile, Kryllk and his army were simultaneously on Asgard. Spider-Man fought the army there, and when he punched Kryllk on Asgard, it also stunned Kryllk in space.

Right when Kryllk was on the verge of defeat, the Watcher transported everyone to his headquarters on the moon. The Watcher told Spider-Man and Thor that the Dark Crystal was his artifact before it was stolen by Kryllk. The Watcher took responsibility for the artifact (and presumably Kryllk and the rest of the trolls) before transporting Spider-Man and Thor back to Earth.
