In a two-pronged effort to destroy Spider-Man, the Jackal sends the clone of Gwen Stacy out to disrupt Peter's life. He also meets with the Scorpion, and revealing his knowledge of Spider-Man's secret identity, he directs the Scorpion to attack Aunt May's hospital room telling him that he'll find Spider-Man there.
