JackalTeam-up with The Grizzly - Amazing Spider-Man #139 - #140
The Jackal finds failed wrestler Maxwell Markham. For reasons unknown, the Jackal sets up Markham with an exo-skeleton, the "Grizzly" moniker, and directs Markham to get his revenge against publisher J. Jonah Jameson. Of course, Spider-Man intervenes and, trailing the Grizzly back to the Jackal's hideout as Peter Parker, he is capture by the combined force of the Grizzly and the Jackal. The Jackal outfits Peter Parker with a booby-trapped homing device in an effort to trace him to Spider-Man. Peter uses an acetylene torch to fry out the homing devices circuitry and escape from the trap. He later defeats the Grizzly, but the Jackal has once again vanished. |
