Equipment & Weapons:

The Jackal had at his disposal some "electro-claws" which he used occasionally. He also had the full chemistry facilities of ESU which provided him with a variety of "knock-out" drugs able to rend a victim immobile or unconscious.

Origin:

Miles Warren was a biochemistry professor at Empire State University and taught both Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy. Warren became extremely affectionate (bordering on obsession) towards Gwen in a paternal manner. When Gwen Stacy died, Miles Warren believed the reports that Spider-Man was responsible for her death, and he snapped mentally. While creating clones of both Gwen Stacy and Peter Parker, he killed his assistant Anthony Serba in a fit of rage when Serba insisted that the human clones be destroyed. Murdering his assistant drove Professor Warren completely off the deep end, and he created the Jackal persona whom he believed was a separate person from himself.
