With a promise of revenge for their earlier defeat, the Green Goblin hired the Enforcers in a scheme to defeat Spider-Man. The Green Goblin convinced Spider-Man to come out to Hollywood to film a movie. Instead of starring in a movie, the Green Goblin and the Enforcers brought Spider-Man out to the desert and ambushed him.

Spider-Man escaped and fled into a cave system. Once there, he managed to defeat the Enforcers one by one and delivered them to the authorities. The Green Goblin, however, was able to escape.
