Electro
Powers & Abilities:Electro can generate and control electricity to a wide variety of effects. His primary offensive use is firing lightning bolts from his fingertips or conducting electricity through a conductive medium like metal wires. He can also ride along electrical lines and other objects with a high electrical potential. He has been known to occasionally propel himself through the air on an electrical "bridge" of sorts. Being able to sense and manipulate electricity also gives Electro the ability to override, shutdown, or even control electrically-powered devices such as alarms, computer systems, or even entire power grids. By absorbing the electricity (including static electricity) in an area, Electro can also effectively cancel Spider-Man's wall-crawling ability. Electro can also absorb and store large quantities of electricity. By doing so, anyone touching Electro without some sort of electrical shielding (rubber gloves, for example) risks electrocution - much as if they touched a high-powered electrical line. Electro can also use this store electricity to boost his strength, speed, and recuperation to a limited degree. Equipment & Weapons:None. Origin:Max Dillon was an electric lineman. Selfish and self-centered, he was working alone in a high-tension pole when lightning struck. Through a freak twist of fate, the lightning and high powered electric lines didn't kill Max but instead turned him into a human electrical generator. He built himself an electricity lab to practice and increase his new ability, and he finally turned to a life of crime to support himself. Electro's Timeline |
