Cyclone

First Appearance - Amazing Spider-Man #143-#144

Jonah Jameson flees to France in order to avoid being linked with the villain known as Mysterio II. Targeted for being an American, he is kidnapped and ransomed by the Cyclone and his goons. In order to ransom JJJ, Robbie Robertson and Peter Parker fly to France with one million dollars in negotiable bonds.

Robbie goes out to meet with the Cyclone's goons in order to pay the ransom. However, the thugs knock Robbie out and force Spider-Man to intervene. After taking out the thugs, the Cyclone ambushes and leaves him buried in the rubble of a nearby building while kidnapping Robbie as well.

Giving new instructions to pay the ransom, Spider-Man shows up at the cathedral with the bonds and "secret weapon". Finding JJJ and Robbie there, Spider-Man takes out the thugs quickly. The Cyclone gives him more difficulty and actually tosses Spider-Man around like a rag doll. Finally, Spider-Man unleashes his weapon: a giant fan. The fan creates a vortex in reverse to the Cyclone and succeeds in knocking the Cyclone unconscious against a wall.
