At his first TV spectacular, Spider-Man is breathing the sweet scent of fame and success when a thief and security guard sprint by him. Instead of stopping the thief, Spider-Man lets him by and watches has he gets away.

Spider-Man's inaction comes back to haunt him when one evening, Peter returns home to find a police car in front of his house. Hearing that the Burglar was holed up in the old Acme warehouse, Spider-Man swung into action. After he knocked out the thief, he recognized him from the TV studio as the fugitive he didn't stop when he had the chance. Aware that he was partially responsible for his uncle's death, Peter Parker learns that with great power comes great responsibility.
